Dishwasher drain hose

Dishwasher drain hose is not installed the right way. If the drain is clogged the water could back up into the dishwasher, and also creates a health hazard if waste water were to siphon back into the dishwashing machine. The hose is coming from the bottom of the cabinet to the drain. The proper way to install the dishwasher drain hose is a high drain loop(where the drainline rises and is securely fastened to the underside of the counter). The hose will be higher than the water level of the sink. Water seeks its natural level, and this will prevent the water from siphoning into the dishwasher. A ant-siphon valve is another way to prevent water from backing into the dishwasher
